Our Process
At Steve Flint Custom Homes, we have developed and put into place proven systems to painlessly guide you through the process of building your custom home. We provide a detailed fixed price bid, so you’ll know exactly what your new home will include and where every dollar of your investment is going. After construction begins, you may think of something you would like to change. We are happy to make those changes and there’s never a change fee. We are proud of our attention to detail and unwavering commitment to our clients. We keep you constantly informed through e-mail, phone calls, site visits, and our “cloud” based program. Updates to your home’s progress are now as close as the nearest internet connection. We are so confident in our superior workmanship that we offer a two-year builder’s warranty, while other builders stand behind their homes for just one year.

Steven Flint
Steve is the founder and owner of Steve Flint Custom Homes. A second generation builder, Steve has over 30 years experience in residential construction. His duties include overseeing the construction process, estimating, and planning. Steve is actively involved with the Northern Wasatch Home Builders Association having served on the Board of Directors, chairing numerous committees, and as a Parade of Homes builder. He is also involved with the National Association of Home Builders, as a member of a Builder 20 Club. He has also served as a volunteer for the local chapter of Habitat for Humanity, sitting on the Board of Directors and holding the position of Treasurer. Steve has a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting from Weber State University and a Master’s Degree in Accounting from the University of Utah.
Scott Birch
Scott has been with Steve Flint Custom Homes since 2006. Prior to joining the Steve Flint team, Scott had accumulated over 20 years experience in the residential construction industry, 14 of which as the owner of his own framing company. With a hands-on approach, Scott is personally involved with the construction of each home. Overseeing every detail, he ensures that all quality standards are met, within budget and on schedule. Additionally, Scott is responsible for the effective management of subcontractors, suppliers, and company personnel.
